AAF E30 M20 Oil Level Block Off Plate
The AAF M20 oil level block off plate for the E30 eliminates the OEM oil level sensor. When it comes to the track, PRO3, rally, spec e30, autocross or any other motorsports activity, the general rule is if it adds weight, complication, another point of failure or simply isn’t needed, then get rid of it. On the M20 there is an oil level sensor on the oil pan that can be deleted in dedicated motorsports cars. This will allow you to remove a small bit of weight by getting rid of the oil level sender and associated wiring which goes all the way up to the overhead panel. By deleting the plug what you are also doing is eliminating another point of failure and clutter in the engine bay.
The AAF block off plate comes with:
- Oil level block off plate
- Two locking nuts
- Two washers
