When it comes to the demanding conditions of racing, you need the best of the best, and in this case, that’s an OEM+ part. Most E46 pumps come with a plastic elbow on the feed side, which can over heat and get soft enough to come out of the pump ending your weekend.  AAF offers an alternative OE pump that has a pressed-in metal elbow, which will never melt or crack.
